Exam pattern for Junior Engineer BSNL 2016:-
The exam paper compromise of Multiple Choice questions (MCQs).Objective type of questions contains four alternatives with one correct answer. For the wrong answer, there is negative marking. There will be 200 objective questions.Each question carries one mark. The time period to complete the exam will be 3 hours.
Syllabus covered :-
Part I :- General Ability test for 20 marks
The candidate’s comprehension and understanding skill will be tested through the simple exercise.
Part II :- Basic engineering for 90 marks
- Applied mathematics
- Applied physics
- Basic electricity
- Electronic device and circuits
- Digital techniques
Part III:- Specialization for 90 marks
- Network filters and transmission lines
- Instruments and measurements
- Control system
Cut off marks or Minimum qualifying marks:-
As per part wise given in question paper and above:-
→ For general candidates 30% for three of question paper
→ For SC/ST/ OBC candidates 20% candidates.
Aggregate marks as per caste category:-
→ For general candidates 40% for three of question paper
→ For SC/ST/ OBC candidates 33% candidates.
Candidates getting less than minimum qualifying marks as per three section wise and also according to aggregate will not be considered in merit lists.
