Hey, friends latest announcement by Lalit Narayana Mithila University about the Bachelor of Education (B.ed) two-year course application form in order to take admission for (Regular and Distance ) for the academic year 2017 – 2018.Candidates who are interested in applying first have to check the eligibility details, application process and various details at our article.

LNMU stands for Lalit Narayana Mithila University, Darbhanga which will conduct the various admission process every year to the courses of Bachelor of Education through a Common Entrance Test (CET) and as usual this year admission process has been started in the month of April 2017 and CET entrance exam is scheduled in the month of May 2017 for more details about applying process move forward.

There are two modes of filling up the application form for Bachelor of Education (B.ed) provided by (LNMU) Lalit Narayana Mithila University, Darbhanga at its official website.

  1. Regular mode
  2. Distance mode

LNMU B.Ed Regular :

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)is a 2-year professional course, which manages teachers for upper primary or middle level and also for secondary levels. LNMU conducts B. Ed. Regular course under a self-financing scheme in 26 Colleges/Institutes. Interested candidates can apply by following our process.

LNMU B.Ed Distance :-

The B.Ed. Distance Mode program is conducted by LNMU and undertakes by Directorate of Distance Education is a two-year programme. This programme is for in-service teachers.The course gives teaching with a self-instructional material (SIM) along with information technology and personal contact programme (PCP). Eligible candidates can apply by below process.

Eligibility for B.ed course :-

A candidate who is applying for B.ed application form of LNMU should first satisfy the eligibility details like education qualification for both modes are given below separately.
  • Required eligibility for Distance mode :-
    (i) Candidates having 50% marks in graduation/post – graduation
    ii) Untrained teacher or
    iii)Trained in –  service teachers as elementary education or
    iv)Candidate who has completed an NCTE recognized
    v) The reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Government of Bihar.
  • Required eligibility for Regular mode :-
    (a) Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) and /or Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor, in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. (Regular) programme.
    (b) The reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Government of Bihar.

Process of applying :-

The Common Application Form (CET 2017) for B. Ed. (Regular) is attached with the prospectus and also available on website www.lnmu.ac.in and www.ddelnmu.ac.in. Properly filled in application form along with Challan (Central Bank of India only) of Rs. 1000 (one thousand only) must reach to the office.
On or before the last date for submission of the admission form that is 10 May2016, either by the candidate’s person or by speed post/ registered post/ courier.

Exam Pattern for B.Ed CET 2017:-
  • The paper compromise of Objective questions
  • Each question carries one mark, with five sections
  • There will be total 120 question in the question paper
  • Time period of 2 hours
  • OMR sheet / Answer sheet will be available for answering.

Syllabus for B.Ed CET 2017:-

  1. General English Comprehension for 15 marks
  2. General Hindi for 15 marks
  3. Logical Analytical reasoning for 25 marks
  4. General Awareness for 40 marks
  5. Teaching/ Learning and the school for 25 marks

Admit Card for Entrance Test (CET) 2017:-

The applied candidates can download the admit card/ hall ticket from the university official website that is www.lnmu.ac.in  and that will be available three days prior to exam date.
